In my head canon, there was actually an equivalent of the Nazi Party in Equestria who originally supported Nightmare Moon's policies after she was deposed by her sister. Ironically, their symbol is the original flag of Equestria (the one on the left) in order to symbolize their history, but the current flag of Equestria is far different, at least in my head canon.
